Interstate Access 

Wall is located directly off Interstate 90 (I-90) at exits 109 and 110.  

I-90 is the longest interstate in the United States and connects the Pacific and Atlantic coasts.

Highway Access

Entrance to U.S. Route 14 is located one (1) mile east. U.S. Route 14 runs parallel to I-90 and crosses through South Dakota’s State Capital, Pierre. 

The eastern terminus for U.S. Route 14 is in Chicago, Illinois and the western terminus is at the eastern entrance to Yellowstone National Park in Wyoming.

Rail Runs through Wall, SD

The Rapid City, Pierre, and Eastern Railroad (RCPE) runs directly through Wall, SD. RCPE is owned and operated by Genesee and Wyoming.  Genesee and Wyoming have the ability, resources and knowledge to expand operations. Canadian Pacific Railways also has an easement corridor from Wall to eastern Wyoming providing a good position for future expansion.  Canadian Pacific’s track and haulage rights all go through Wall and pass through South Dakota and into Minnesota giving rail access to a network that spans the United States and crosses into and along the southern region of Canada.

Air Transportation 

Wall Municipal Airport has 3,500 feet of asphalt runway at an elevation of 2,800 feet. If a larger carrier is required, Rapid City Regional Airport is located only 55 miles west. Airlines servicing Rapid City Regional Airport are Allegiant, Delta, United, and American Airlines.
