Found at the entrance to the park, the spectacular formations include distinctive overhangs, ridges, and pillars formed by eroded remnants of sediments transferred by rivers. 

Skyview Movie Nights are an ideal way to spend a beautiful summer evening with loved ones. Bring a lawn chair, or watch from your car with audio through an FM radio station for a unique way to take in the movie theater experience. Concessions are available for guests. 

A memorable learning experience is sure to be had by all at the Minuteman Missile National Historic Site. The once classified site was home to ten nuclear missiles controlled by Air Force personnel. Tour the facilities to learn about the Cold War events and view a nuclear missile which carried a 1.2 megaton warhead at one time.

Wounded Knee Museum is a narrative museum that emphasizes the memorable stories of the small Lakota families. The authentic exhibits and photographs display research and evidence surrounding the Wounded Knee Massacre. 

A whimsical adventure observing Prairie Dogs scurrying around their natural habitat can be had at Roberts Prairie Dog Town in the Badlands National Park. Of course, they are just one of the many animals that call Badlands National Park home. Local favorites include Bighorn Sheep, the iconic American Bison and the Pronghorn. These animals are hard to find elsewhere and make for a spectacular sightseeing trip. 

For groups or families searching for camping experiences along their way to the Black Hills, Sleepy Hollow Campground & RV Park can accommodate all types of campers. Just one block north of Wall Drug, the spacious campground allows for approximately 59 RV sites, along with areas for campers and tent camping. Other special amenities include a dog park, playground, heated pool, basketball court and horseshoe pit.

Spend a leisure afternoon shopping at the local shops in downtown Wall. Talented local artists have various pieces on display to view and buy, including jewelry, woodworking, and other crafts.
