Youth Leadership on Our Board
We’re proud to involve high school students as active members of our board. Each year, we select a student from the Junior class to serve a two-year term, ensuring we always have representation from both a Junior and a Senior student. This unique opportunity allows our students to gain valuable insights into local governance while sharing their perspectives on behalf of their generation.
To recognize their contributions, we award a $500 scholarship to our outgoing Senior board member. This year, the scholarship was awarded to Quinn Moon, who is now pursuing a Diesel Technician degree at Lake Area Technical College in Watertown.
Our current Senior Student Director is Faith Frink, and we are excited to welcome Patrick Trask as our incoming Junior Student Director this year.
The board deeply values the fresh ideas and perspectives our student members bring. Their involvement enriches our discussions and strengthens our connection with the next generation’s vision and priorities.
