Economic Development Board Approves Multiple Projects

The South Dakota Governor’s Office of Economic Development (GOED) Board of Economic Development has approved projects that will contribute more than $419 million in capital expenditures and create 180 full-time jobs across the state.
“South Dakota continues to lead the nation in economic growth, and I’m committed to ensuring our state remains Open for Opportunity,” said Governor Larry Rhoden. “These investments will create new jobs and strengthen our economy for years to come.”
A Reinvestment Payment Program grant of up to $3,386,040 has been approved for Big Stone Energy Storage Project LLC to incentivize the construction and operation of a thermal energy storage facility.
